Daniel Kaltiainen, Consultant

Daniel Kaltiainen is founder and Senior Business Consultant with Lloyd Research Group Inc. and is responsible for supervising and coordinating staff and external teams in the successful and timely execution of customer projects. He is a key player in tool/technology review and selection, and assisting customers in the design and implementation of various IT solutions including Internet, voice data communications, and database.

Prior to establishing Lloyd Research, he delivered application software training seminars through the Enterprise Center; and designed and facilitated the implementation of various applications software as a technical advisor to management at the Ministry of the Environment. He also founded Pen Systems Inc., a highly successful developer of handheld field data collection products for the mining industry.

He has consulted in the planning and development of numerous regional and community-based technology initiatives and start-ups, and is highly sought for his opinions and recommendations regarding technology issues.

Daniel is an honors business graduate in electronic data processing from Cambrian College and is a member of Greater Sudbury’s e-sudbury.com smartworx committee and past member of the executive and board of directors of the Sudbury Regional Development Corporation.
